The Maker - Rainforest Foods
Since 1998, Rainforest Foods has been creating jams, sauces, and macadamia delights from native rainforest fruits and spices, grown in the lush Byron Bay hinterland. Their small-batch condiments capture the zing of Davidson plum, the citrus sparkle of finger lime, and the richness of macadamia, each crafted to bring a burst of regional flavour to the table.
Perfect partners for cheese, these preserves add brightness to a creamy brie, a tangy lift to blue, or a nutty crunch alongside an aged cheddar. They are a taste of the rainforest itself, made to be shared on a platter with good cheese, good company.

We despatch orders every Tuesday and Thursday. Delivery times vary by region:

If your order arrives in less than perfect condition due to an error by us or the courier, please notify us and we will provide a replacement or a refund.
We strongly recommend that someone is available to receive the delivery. It is also essential to provide an Australian mobile phone number at checkout to ensure tracking updates can be received by SMS.
Best before dates
All of our cheeses are shipped within their best before date. But with cheese, “best before” doesn’t mean “stop eating”, it really means “tasting great right now.”
Cheese is a living food. It continues to develop over time, which means many cheeses can still be enjoyed beyond their best before date as they mature.
We usually include a mix of cheeses at different stages so you can enjoy some straight away and save others for later. A little patience in the fridge comes with its own reward.
If you’d prefer all your cheeses young, or all ready to enjoy right now, just leave us a note at checkout and we’ll do our best to make it happen.
Our Mystery Boxes are discounted because they may include cheeses closer to their best before date. They’re still well within date when despatched, and at their most delicious.
